GETTING CLOSER
Sorry I haven't written much lately. Been crazy busy. But it's all going well. Here's a few answers and updates on a few issues for you:

WHEN WILL TICKETS BE SENT?
If you purchased tickets Online, in the Ballot or in Last Chance, your tickets will be sent to you by November 21 at the latest. You will first get an email notifying you that they are on their way.

GOLDEN PLAINS
Is on next year for sure. Should be good, we have some excellent plans in place, and some ridiculous ones as well of course. If you plan to go please ensure you head to www.goldenplains.com.au to enter the ballot before it closes.

TICKETS ARE WRISTBANDS
The tickets this year are in the form of wristbands. The ticket is a wristband, the wristband is a ticket. Put it on your wrist as you depart to go to the festival and leave it on for the duration of the event.

TRESPASSERS BEWARE
We know people have snuck into Meredith in the past. It ends now.

The new wristband system means anyone on or approaching the site by foot or vehicle without a valid ticket or reason may be charged with trespass, which carries a fine of up to $2750 and a maximum penalty of six months imprisonment. Each wristband has a unique barcode that will be scanned on entry and at other times and places throughout the festival. There will be no inconvenience to anyone who has a valid wristband.

Any vehicle found harbouring or assisting a trespasser in any way – and all its occupants - will be refused entry to or ejected from the festival. All occupants will also be removed from mailing lists and ticket ballots and banned from future festivals at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre. Even if one person in a vehicle is trying to sneak in, these penalties will apply to all occupants.

Yes it's heavy, but necessary. Meredith should be the perfect size, no bigger. If you had considered sneaking in, forget a life of crime. Go straight. Go to Golden Plains maybe.

THE SUPERNATURAL
Plenty of activity at the Supernatural Amphitheatre. We know many people love Bush Camping, so we are working with a team of excellent botanical types to turn Top Camping into a new, vast Bush Camping. It won't happen overnight but it will happen. Uncle Doug has also been busy designing a permanent, luxurious shower facility. The restoration of the heritage-listed Pink Flamingo Bar continues apace, there's talk of a new triple-sized Meredith Eye, the lush green grass Amphitheatre carpet will be there, as will all the old favourites like Sunset Strip, Inspiration Point, The World Famous Meredith Gift, SportsField™, SkyShow, Ecoplex Cinema, Silence Wedge and Master Song's Tai Chi Masterclass. The albino Lyrebird breeding program hasn't even been imagined yet. And a new market stall selling Hot Cakes will be there to see if it's still true.

Meredith is what she is because of the participation of her participants.

 Everything you could possibly want to know about everything will continue to be posted up over the coming weeks. Until then all info is situated in a place we like to call Info A-Z. It's not all there yet, but it will be soon. If you can't wait then you can Ask Aunty Meredith. The website has been re-jigged as you can see; we'd like to welcome John from Barking Sparrows who is now manning the ones and zeroes. We'd also like to thank Kyle who did so throughout the Information Age.

VOLUNTEERS

 Applications for volunteer positions are now closed, and all applicants were sent an email on August 19 with their result. Successful volunteers will be emailed their shift details by the end of October.
