Ticket allocations
Tickets to Meredith have now sold out. Thanks to everyone who managed to get themselves tickets, and our apologies to everyone who didn't. Please be aware there will indeed be a Golden Plains Festival at Meredith again in March, details will be at www.goldenplains.com.au soon.
TICKETS SENT IN NOVEMBER
If you purchased Meredith tickets Online or in The Ballot, please note tickets won't be sent out until the first week of November. If you have any questions regarding your online purchase or need to change the delivery address please click here.
AUNTY'S LAST CHANCE
There is one small final allocation of tickets called Aunty's Last Chance Tickets. These are set aside specifically for long-time Meredith-goers who tried but ultimately failed to secure tickets in the Ballot, Store and Online Allocations. Aunty Meredith considers it an absolute privilege to be able to allocate a small number of tickets from her private stash to some such Meredithians in need of a little joy. Priority will be given to those that have been to the festival the most times, or travel the furthest to be there, or most passionately love and respect the festival, or perhaps are missing one member of a very regular group, etcetera. Please note, if you have not been to Meredith before, it's very unlikely these tickets can be allocated to you, sorry...
How to apply for Last Chance Tickets
Before 12noon on Monday 15 September, send Aunty Meredith an email. Make the subject “LAST CHANCE”. In the email, please put the following things:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- How many tickets applied for (up to 3) and if they are FriSatSuns or just SatSuns
- A short blurb about why you want tickets. If you are a regular make sure you mention how long you have been going and include one of your oldest Meredith memories.
Email Aunty Meredith by clicking here.
Every applicant will receive a reply via email on September 17th. Again please note these tickets are for long-time Meredith-goers.
TICKETS ARE WRISTBANDS
Tickets are in the form of wristbands this year; the ticket is a wristband, the wristband is a ticket. Don't put it on till the morning of the festival. Then it's on your wrist and you don't have to worry that you forgot it when you are on the way. There are two types of tickets:
- "FriSatSun" tickets get you access from 1pm Friday 12 December to 5pm Sunday 14 December
- "SatSun" tickets get you access from 8am Saturday 13 December to 5pm Sunday 14 December
